Terms of service

1. What Celebration Post does

You choose one of our designs, add your details, and publish a single-page wedding invite website at its own link. You can share the link in any app, along with a share image and a QR code, and edit the invite later. Guests open it in their browser.

2. Price

Making and publishing an invite is free today. If we ever charge for anything, the price will be shown clearly before you pay, and nothing you have already published will be charged for after the fact.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to make an account.
• Use an email address you control, and keep access to it secure; anyone with access to it can sign in.
• You are responsible for what is published from your account.

4. Your invite and your content

• It stays yours. You own the words and the photo you add. You give HDR VENTURES permission to store, display and copy them only as needed to run the service: showing your invite to people who open its link, and making its share image and QR code. That permission ends when you delete the invite, except for backups for up to 7 days and copies others have already made.
• You have the right to share what you add. You confirm that you may use the names, numbers and photo you put on the invite, and that the people named in it are happy to be.

5. What you may not publish or do

• Anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual or violent.
• A fake or misleading invite, including one that impersonates someone or is used to collect money or personal details under false pretences.
• Someone else's photo or personal details without their agreement.
• Advertising or spam unrelated to your own celebration.
• Anything that harms the site or its users: malicious code, getting around our security, scraping, or overloading the service.

If an invite breaks these rules, we may take it offline or delete it, and close the account behind it. We will tell you why when we reasonably can.

6. Our designs and the site

The designs, drawings, code, the Celebration Post name and its mark belong to HDR VENTURES or those who license them to us. You may use a design through Celebration Post for your own invite, and share its share image, QR code and screenshots for your celebration. You may not copy the designs to reuse or sell elsewhere.

7. Taking down and deleting

• You can take an invite offline, put it back, or delete it at any time from Your invites.
• Invites delete themselves 6 months after the wedding unless you choose to keep them longer, and we email you before that happens.
• Deleting is permanent. We do not keep copies for you, so save anything you want to keep, such as the share image, before you delete.

8. Keeping the service running

We work to keep Celebration Post available and your invite online, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or improve features. If we ever close the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice where we can, so you have time to save what you need.

9. Responsibility

• The service is provided as it is. You are responsible for checking the details on your invite: dates, times, venues and contacts.
• We are not responsible for services we link to, such as WhatsApp, maps or calendars, or for guests not seeing or receiving an invite.
• As far as the law allows, HDR VENTURES is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
• If someone makes a claim against us because of what you published, in breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

10. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update this page and its date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or email you before it takes effect. Using Celebration Post after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a disagreement arises, write to us first and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
